Covid – This is a rapidly changing situation. Please contact us to discuss availability & current situation for this RYA Day Skipper Practical Course. Rather than taking bookings directly online we are speaking with each individual booking personally to ensure suitability. We are currently unable to allow people to stay onboard overnight. (Dec 2020)
Please contact us for further information or book a provisional place on this RYA Day Skipper Practical Course. We’ll be in contact to chat further.
This is a four day course on a Training Centre boat which looks at the techniques required to handle a motor cruiser both in confined spaces but also undertaking short passages. It includes an introduction to night navigation. In order to gain the maximum benefit from the course your navigation skills should be at the level of Dayskipper Theory standard. For further information on our Dayskipper Theory Courses please look at our Shorebased Theory courses. The Dayskipper Certificate can also be used as evidence of competency for your ICC (International Certificate of Competency) over 10m – please note there have been recent changes to the eligibility and you should check out the RYA site for current information.
These courses will run subject to minimum course bookings, discussed at time of booking. We will also need to be mindful of Covid restrictions in place at the the time of the course. Please do not book accommodation until we have discussed your booking.
Please note that we can run this course on your own boat at any time to suit you and your family/crew.
Bookings are no longer available for this event.
