Powerboat Skills Refresher Evenings (Daylight)

These are designed for those who already have experience or a Powerboat Level 2 certificate but who haven’t boated in a while and want to practice skills such as berthing, man overboard, or turning in a confined space.  They are also great for those who have booked a boat hire but want a reminder before taking sole charge.  The Powerboat Skills Refresher Evenings will last approx. 2 hours on the water.  We will be based in and around the marina and we’ll get afloat as quickly as possible.   You are welcome to book the whole boat for yourself or bring along someone from your household bubble either as crew, to take photos or to share the practising.  These evenings usually run from 6.30-8.30pm on the water and we suggest arriving by 6.15pm to give us time to organise lifejackets, paperwork etc.

We really are flexible with these so we will contact you to confirm the booking and discuss the topics you would like to cover so that we can maximise the time afloat.   If you’re looking for a motor cruising practice session please contact us to discuss as we arrange these on demand.

If you’d like a refresher earlier or later in the season than the dates shown in the calendar please contact us.  We are more than happy to run them but they will need to start a little earlier due to daylight.
