Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Tutorials Booking

Please click on the calendar below to  book a place on these tutorials.  They are for those undertaking their Theory Courses with Skippers Online but booked through ourselves.

You will receive a email giving you a link to the meeting time you request along with instructions on how to use and you can join in by video or audio. Its quite straight forward but any queries please contact us. If you are booking within 24hrs of the call please contact us on 01202 901267 to confirm your booking.

We provide face to face training and advice and you are encouraged to participate and interact. We know that online courses can feel a little daunting particularly if you reach a topic you are struggling with and the idea of these sessions is not to replace the course material but instead provide a little support in explaining fundamentals ‘face to face’ by video call. You will then be in a position to carry on to complete the online course topic.

Proposed Day Skipper & Yachtmaster Tutorials Schedule:

30th April – Latitude and Longitude, Charts, Projections, Variation

7th May – Tides

14th May – Estimated Position & Dead Reckoning

21st May – Course to Steer

28th May – Night Nav – Lights

Depending on interest, we can then potentially also cover Electronic Nav, Safety Kit, Revision Sessions etc.

We do not expect these sessions being heavily subscribed so if you see a topic you’d like covering at a different part of the schedule please drop us a message to chat as we may be able to rearrange the schedule.
