Sea Survival
This RYA Sea Survival course will give you the essential practical skills and knowledge to react effectively to an emergency. It includes a practical session in a swimming pool including clambering into Life rafts. You will also experience being in the water wearing waterproofs and an activated lifejacket. It is useful for all boaters. A course often overlooked by leisure boaters, it provides confidence and is a fun day. It is well worth looking into, you’ll be amazed at what you learn. Required by commercial boaters and some yacht racing crews.
(If you also require a IASF/RYA Offshore Safety Course please contact us and we can discuss getting this arranged. We are often able to organise these the same weekend and have a number arranged over the winter.
Please feel free to bring along your own waterproofs and lifejacket, alternatively we are happy to supply these if preferred. We tend to use automatic lifejackets in the pool.
Booking:
Our Sea Survival course is run subject to minimum numbers but we almost always reach these! We sometimes run this course over two locations during the day so you may require transport. Classroom followed by pool session. Any issues, please let us help!
