This particular course is being run over two blocks – we are flexible on options.
The RYA Yachtmaster Theory Shorebased Course is a theory course for more advanced boaters, it gives you the knowledge to skipper a boat across the channel.
The course is suitable for powerboaters and sailors, for those looking to undertake journeys further afield, or achieve further practical qualifications. We are running this course over two blocks to allow time to digest information. Students often learn best when they have had time to reflect and practice before progressing onto new topics. We will supply teas, coffee and biscuits to help the concentration and we have a wonderful view from our waterside classroom. This enables us to look outside for real life examples of the topics we discuss. You should anticipate work to complete in an evening and between the blocks as well as the teaching time.
