VHF (SRC) MARINE RADIO COURSE

The VHF SRC Marine Radio course is undertaken using radio simulators online.  It takes you through the syllabus at your own pace. You can complete the online training in one sitting or over a period of time. At the end of the course you will undertake the final assessment at an RYA training centre like ourselves. We pride ourselves on conducting this in a friendly and relaxing manner, whilst still maintaining the standards required.

Compatibility for online course: Please visit RYA SRC Course Taster & Compatibility to check for information on minimum compatibility issues and to download a taster course to ensure the course will run on your device.

The price for the VHF SRC Marine Radio Course is £69 which includes your course pack. There is also an assessment fee of £70 payable to the RYA on the day of assessment.

The course pack can either be:

  1. collected from us at an agreed time (no charge)
  2. a code for an eBook will be emailed (no charge) (must be redeemed in RYA Books app)
  3. we can post a paperback (£5 postage charge)

You can select postage on the delivery page (next).

PLEASE NOTE:

RYA Courses are not automatically activated and whilst we are usually able to set the course up within a couple of hours, on rare occasions it may take up to 48hours.   If you require urgent access please contact us before booking online. We are likely to be able to process quickly and we will confirm timescales. Do check your spam box for joining info particularly if you have a Gmail account. Please note that we can only send paperbacks out to UK addresses (unless previously agreed).

Min age for assessment is 16.  Please note that you must attend a RYA Training Centre to undertake the final assessment and for this there is a separate fee of £70 payable directly to the RYA.  We can organise assessments most days at our centre in Poole.

By buying online and requesting immediate access to the course you waive your 14 day right to cancel. If you would rather wait the 14 days and then be set up we are happy to do that. Please note that we will of course always work with you to resolve any concerns you have. Our terms and conditions are available on the website.
